The team had begun shooting the remake in Coimbatore as we reported earlier. Now, the latest is that popular comedian Yogi Babu will essay a guest appearance in ”. Sharing a picture with RJ Balaji from the set of the film, Yogi Babu posted, “Guest Appearance in @RJ_Balaji Movie.”

RJ Balaji, who will be reprising Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in this film, is writing the script and will be co-directing the remake with NJ Saravanan, who was also part of his previous outing ”. Soorarai Pottru fame Aparna Balamurali will reprise Sanya Malhotra’s role from the original while Sathyaraj and Oorvashi playing RJB’s parents in the movie.

The filming is taking place in and around the locations of Coimbatore. team is planning to wrap up the entire shoot in thirty to forty days at a single stretch. Boney Kapoor, who produced Thala Ajith’s and , is financing the remake along with Zee Studios and Romeo Pictures.
